The Ohio AFL-CIO Executive Board has voted unamiously to support the APWU in our battle against Staples.  President Tim Burga announced the decision on their website (www.ohaflcio.org) and in email blasts sent to all of organized labor in the state.

In addition President Burga is actively recruiting Ohio's two teacher unions - the National Education Association and the American Teachers  Federation to become active participants in the nationwide boycott of the Staples chain.

Ohio joins many other state federations in the boycott.  The National AFL-CIO has put Staples on their "Do Not Buy" list.

This movement is a demonstration of what can be accomplished when organized labor stands together.
